You Will Need:

• 3 Red C6 Cards
• Iris Folding Panel - Small Bauble
• Iris Folding Panel - Candy Cane
• Iris Folding Panel - Stocking
• 1 Silver Iris Strip 15cm
• 1 Red Iris Strip 15cm
• 2 White Iris Strips 15cm
• 8 Red Iris Strips 15cm in 4 Shades
• Red Pearlescent Glitter Card
• Dovecraft Brads Christmas
• Dovecraft Designer Brads Metallics B
• 37mm Red Bow
• 3D Foam Pads
• Peel Offs

1. Place an aperture cut panel over the pattern.
2. Secure it with a little masking tape.
3. You will need the same number of colours of paper as the highest number inside the outer rim of the shape.
4. Arrange your chosen colours next to your workspace.
5. Take a strip of the first colour.
6. Fold one edge of the strip over about a quarter of a centimetre.



7. Cut the strip to the length of the area marked 1.
8. The strip should overlap the outer edges of the shape.
9. Stick the strip in place using sticky tape.
10. You may find it easier to place a strip of sticky tape on a craft matt, then cut across the width of the tape approximately every centimetre using a craft knife. You can then use your craft knife to lift each piece of tape off the craft matt and place onto your project.
11. Repeat steps 5 - 9 for the area marked 2 using the second colour.
12. Continue in the same way, covering each area in order.



13. After using the last colour of paper go back to the first.
14. After covering all the areas stick a square of holographic paper over the hole that is left (known as the iris).
15. Remove the pattern from your card.



16. Trim the aperture panel to size.
17. A paper trimmer is ideal for this, but you could use fancy scissors or straight scissors.
18. You may like to embellish the panel further using corner punches - if so do this now.
19. Use double sided tape to stick your finished iris folding onto the front of the card.
20. Fold your card closed
21. Embellish as desired

Small Bauble Card

Cut the completed iris folding panel to 8.5 x 9cm. Use a needle to pierce a hole in each corner of the iris folding panel. Punch a red brad through each hole. Turn the panel over and sperate each part of the back of each brad. Stick the iris folding panel onto the red card using double sided tape. Stick border peel offs around the edges of the panel. Finish the card with a peel off greeting.

Candy Cane Card

Cut the completed iris folding panel to 8.5 x 13cm. Cut a piece of red pearlescent glitter card to 9 x 13.5cm. Use a needle to pierce a hole in each corner of the iris folding panel. Punch a large red brad through each hole. Turn the panel over and sperate each part of the back of each brad. Stick the iris folding panel onto the red glitter card using double sided tape. Stick this layered panel onto the red single fold card. Complete the card with a red ribbon bow stuck in place with a 3D foam pad.

Stocking Card

Cut the completed iris folding panel to 8.5 x 11cm. Stick the iris folding panel onto the red card using double sided tape. Stick border peel offs around the edges of the panel. Finish the card with a peel off greeting.
