Cut the white card into three rectangles 6cm x 8.5cm. Stencil each piece of card using one of the techniques detailed below. Stick the panels onto your chosen paper colour using double sided tape. Cut around the panels leaving whatever border width appeals to you. There is no need to follow the examples exactly, there is plenty of paper so that you can experiment with your own combinations and border widths.
Arrange the panels on the card until you are happy with the layout. Then stick them to in place using double sided tape.
Attach the stencil to the front of the card with masking tape. Flip the card over onto a light box, a lamp under a glass table or a window. From the back of the card trace the outline of the shape with the embossing tool. The design can be highlighted with chalks before the stencil is removed.
Attach the stencil to the front of the card with masking tape. Colour the stencil using brush pens. This needs to be done very quickly so it's often easier to colour the design carefully then very quickly re ink each area again. Remove the stencil and quickly pour clear embossing powder over the design. Tap the excess powder off onto some scrap paper so that it can be easily poured back into the bottle. Heat the design using a heat gun until it melts.
Attach the stencil to the front of the card with masking tape. Use a different sponge for each colour and start with the lightest colour. Tap the sponge onto the ink pad then onto the stencil.
