First you need to cut your paper into 5cm squares using either a paper trimmer or a cutting matt and craft knife. Take one 5cm square of paper. Fold it in half horizontally. Fold the top right (or left) hand corner down so that the point meets the centre of the bottom of the rectangle. Fold the other top corner in the same way. Repeat this for all the squares of paper.
Take the card mount which is split into three panels with an circle cut out of the centre panel. With right side facing upwards, fold the right hand side panel under the centre panel. Mark a cross inside the circle, the centre of the cross should be at the centre of the circle. Turn the card over so that the cross is easily accessible.
Take one of the triangles and stick it onto the card lining each side up with the cross. Stick four triangles down in this way. The next eight triangles go on top of the first four as shown. Stick down each layer of triangles as shown.
Put plenty of double sided tape on the back of the front panel of the card. Fold your card closed being sure that the triangles are kept flat. Embellish your card as desired.
