Start by cutting the corrugated card into 3cm squares. You will need 4 in one colour and 5 in the other. A paper trimmer makes light work of this but the old fashioned craft knife, cutting matt and ruler will do.
Stick a bit of double sided tape onto the back of each corrugated square.
You can position the squares on your card by eye or for more accuracy cut a guide 2.25cm wide from some scrap card 30cm long. Cut it in half lengthways and stick the two halves together at right angles. Line the template up with one of the corners of your card and stick the square in place so that the edges are butting up against the edges of the template. Position the four outer squares in this way. Then use one edge of the guide to position the middle squares of each outer row. Then finally remove the guide and position the centre square by eye.
Put a glue dot on the back of five embellishments and stick them onto the corrugated squares.
The card can be completed with some peel off greetings along each edge. A craft knife is useful for positioning the peel offs.
Cut one colour of corrugated card to 5cm square and the other colour to 4cm square.
Trim 4cm from the right hand edge of the card. Draw a line 3cm in from the edge you have just cut on the back of the inside if the card. To make this easier cut a template 3cm wide from some scrap card and use it like a ruler. Draw horizontal lines 4.25cm from the top and bottom of the card. Use a craft knife and cutting matt to cut out the protruding square you have drawn.
Cut the pearlescent card to 14.5cm square and use double sided tape to stick it to the inside front of the card. Apply the embellishment and corrugated cards as shown.
Cut the pearlescent paper to 14.5cm by 7.5cm and stick it to the bottom or side of the card with double sided tape. The raw edge of the paper can be covered with a border peel off.
Stick the embellishments over the edge as shown. They can be stuck straight onto the card or mounted onto some of the leftover corrugated card.
