This technique is great for using up leftover scraps of paper.
Place an aperture card over the pattern and secure it with a little masking tape. Each area of the pattern needs to be covered with a piece of paper with a folded edge which will be visible from the front of the card.
Start with the area marked 1 and cut a strip of paper big enough to more than cover the area. Fold the egde of the paper over about half a centimetre. Use sticky tape to stick the paper onto the card so that the area marked 1 is completley covered by the paper and the folded edge is along the black line.
Next cover the area marked 2. Use the colours shown on the pattern as a guide but feel free to substitute the colours for different ones.
The last area needs to be covered with an unfolded scrap of paper.
Fold the card closed and stick it together with double sided tape.
Embelish your card as you see fit.
