Terms and Conditions

BGPayne Crafts mission is very simple, to provide you with quality crafting supplies at the lowest possible prices.

When you place an order from the massive range at BGPayne Crafts your products are ordered from suppliers within a few days and delivered to our offices usually within a week. Your order is then carefully packed by experienced crafter's and dispatched to you usually the same day.

When you buy from BGPayne Crafts you aren't paying for a warehouse to store our massive range because there isn't one. No heating and lighting bills. No high rental bills. No packers spending hours walking round picking your order. So you get the lowest possible prices!

There's nothing scary in our terms and conditions, no small print and no cons. But here's the legal blurb to keep the legal eagles happy:

Visitors

Visitors are welcome to call at our showroom but please be aware that only a small percentage of the products available through the website are in stock. Opening hours are 10am - 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Should you wish to collect your order please place your order over the internet and select payment on collection as your payment method. Your order will be available to collect within 8 days of being placed. You will receive an email when your goods are ready to be collected.

Payment

Whilst every effort will be made to accomplish deliveries and maintain prices quoted, BGPayne Crafts have the right to vary prices and deliveries.

All prices quoted on this site include VAT at the appropriate applicable rate.

All goods must be paid for before being despatched. All payments are to be made in Pounds Sterling.

You can pay using any major credit or debit card by clicking on the checkout button from your shopping basket. If you prefer to pay over the telephone please phone 01282 691090 between 10am and 4pm Tuesday to Saturday. Paypal payments are also welcome. Payment can also be made by cheque or postal order made out to BGPayne Crafts. Please send postal payments to BGPayne Crafts, 4 Berriedale Road, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 8AZ, United Kingdom.

Card payments will not be processed until your order is dispatched.

Dispatch

Orders are usually dispatched within 8 days.

Dispatch will be confirmed by email.

Out Of Stock Items

If any item you have ordered is not available at the time your order is packed but a suitable substitute is immediately available your item will be substituted for approximately double it's value of alternative products. You have the option to opt out of this by clicking the check box at checkout.

When a suitable substitute is not immediately available your item will be back ordered for you. It is not always possible to provide a time scale for delivery of back orders, we will always provide one if at all possible. You will be charged for the entire order and your out of stock item will be dispatched to you as soon as it arrives by second class post or surface mail as applicable. You will be emailed as soon as your back order is dispatched so that you know when to expect it. There is no additional p&p charge on back ordered items. You can choose to opt out of the back order system by checking the box on the checkout page.

If you wish to cancel any back order please contact BGPayne Crafts and we will be happy to issue you a refund for the back ordered items.

Returns

We cannot guarantee the suitability of any of our products for a specific purpose, customers are asked to make their own tests before making any large orders.

We want you to be delighted with your order, should your purchase not be quite right for your project, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it. BGPayne will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the order, a credit note or alternative products. Please include your order number and instructions with your return.

Cancellations

Should you wish to cancel your order please contact BGPayne Crafts as soon as possible, as once the delivery process has begun we will be unable to cancel it.

Complaints

If there is a problem with your order please contact BGPayne Crafts as soon as possible.

Our complaints policy is very simple, if we have made a mistake you will receive an explanation of why the mistake occurred and what has been done to prevent it happening again, an apology, action taken to correct the error and if appropriate compensation for the error.

Postage

lst Class

First Class mail aims to deliver your order within the UK the next working day after dispatch.

Surface Mail

Delivery times are likely to be:

• Western Europe - up to 2 weeks from dispatch
• Eastern Europe - up to 5 weeks from dispatch
• North America - up to 6 weeks from dispatch
• South America, Africa and Asia - up to 8 weeks from dispatch
• Australasia - up to 12 weeks from dispatch

Airmail

Airmail aims to deliver to European destinations within three working days and worldwide within five days of dispatch.

Postage Prices

If your order does not arrive within 10 working days of these time scales (25 working days for international orders) please contact BGPayne Crafts with your order number, so that your missing parcel can be pursued with Royal Mail. Parcels are far more often delayed than actually lost in the post and the vast majority of delayed mail is delivered within the 10 working days Royal Mail allow for delayed mail before assuming that it has been lost in the post.

All specified sizes, weights and thicknesses are approximate.

Whilst the range of paper and cardboard's we offer are suitable for most general craft purposes, please note the following. We have not tested the pH of the papers or cardboard's (those marked acid free or neutral pH are the manufacturers specifications). Nor can we guarantee the resistance to fading of the pigments used in the making of the various papers and cardboard's, nor can we guarantee the suitability of the various papers and cardboard's to archival preservation (those marked long life or expected to last 500 years are the makers specifications).

The abbreviations 'mic' and 'gsm' follow the various thicknesses and weights of the papers and cardboard's. The abbreviation 'mic' is used when describing thickness and is short for microns. i.e. 1,000 microns equals 1mm. The abbreviation 'gsm' is used when describing the weight and is short for grams per square metre. i.e. a piece of 100gsm paper measuring 1 metre x 1 metre weighs 100grams.
